The Gathering Place is located near the main intersection of
Hwy 90 and Hwy 603 in Waveland, Mississippi. It is the perfect setting for a variety of events, the two-story, nearly 5000 sq ft. building offers an open floor plan with the cozy ambiance of French Country decor. If the weather is nice, there is ample room for the party to spill out onto the decks. The kitchen area attracts attention with its uniquely-designed island; and a second kitchen area often serves as the bar.
The main banquet space can be set up for dining or dancing.
The adjoining cafe area is suited for smaller parties or extra seating for larger events.
The wide staircase makes for a striking entrance for brides in their beautiful gowns.
Upstairs, there are 6 rooms and a large landing, featuring high ceilings and unique architectural lines. Four of the rooms are set up as B&B rooms as well as general lodging or retreats. The peaceful ambiance of The Gathering Place is one of the main compliments we receive from our guests.
Our in-house spa, GeDohnne's Garden Spa, located on the second level offers soothing Aromatherapy massage, pampering Day Spas and indulgent Overnight Retreats. A handicap ramp is first-level accessible and ensures the comfort of guests who will be participating in any first level function. For your convenience there is ample parking space for 40+ cars in our adjoining parking lot .
